Administrative base for R.E. Support has moved.

Galway Education Centre hosted the Religious Education Support Service from 2000 – 2008. The work of the RESS was overseen by the Steering Committee who included the following:

The day-to-day running of the RESS was conducted by the National Co Ordinator and assisted by the Regional Development Officer.
Since September 2008 Religious Education Support (formerly Religious Education Support Service) has been administered by Second Level Support Service (http://www.slss.ie). The National Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day support provision to teachers. In January 2009, Co. Wexford Education Centre replaced Galway Education Centre in the hosting of Religious Education Support, since Co. Wexford Education Centre is one of the five regional bases of the SLSS. |
